On May 27th, 2018 - twenty thousand people in Berlin united together against hate, racism, nazism, machism, xenophobia, homophobia and everything that stands for the right-wing.
Statement from events' organizers:
"Berlin's club culture is everything the Nazis are not and what they hate: we are progressive, queer, feminist, anti-racist, inclusive, colorful and have unicorns. On our dance floors, people with unlimited origins, diverse desires, changing identities, and good social taste. In contrast, AfD embodies a repressive, heteronormative, anti-feminist and racist image of society. Their goal is the ethnic formation, the reconstitution of nationalist-homogeneous states and the stigmatization of all who should not belong. On May 27, they wanted to bring their misanthropic ideology to the Chancellor's Office to maintain and intensify the pressure from the far right. Visible features of this strategy are the tightening of government policies against refugees. This state cannot be danceable. Therefore our party crashed their march."
